More than 700 employees in Germany offer financial services to corporate, private and institutional clients in our office in Frankfurt am Main and other branches throughout Germany The ABN AMRO Lending team in Germany is expanding its lending portfolio of medium sized, family-owned clients (“Mittelstand”) arising from our German E&E coverage division with German corporate clients. Your job
- As a Specialist in the German Lending team, you are supporting in building and maintaining strong, sustainable long-term credit relationships with a special focus on mid-cap corporate clients in Germany
- You screen opportunities and identify good credits that are worth pursuing
- You are preparing credit applications to relevant internal credit committees, identifying and mitigating potential credit risks, undertake ongoing portfolio management and execute new deals
- This includes structuring of debt financings within existing product and risk landscape and their execution, negotiation of documentation and coordination within internal and external parties
- You are working in close collaboration with E&E Coverage in Germany and Risk Management in Germany and in the Netherlands
Your profile
- Academic level with more than 10 years of work experience with a proven track record in financing medium-sized German companies in corporate banking or credit risk management
- Good expertise in financial modelling as well as in managing credit processes.
- Knowledge of the different lending products as well as HBG and IFRS accounting principles
- You are a team player, act mindful and collaborative within and across teams and communicate effectively
- You have a solution driven approach, you understand problems and opportunities and design solutions
- You are entrepreneurial with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to deliver high quality results on time
- Fluent English and German, written and spoken
