HR Analytics is a team of 15 professionals who support fact-based HR via dashboards, strategic workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, organisational design, surveys and statistical (machine learning) analyses. We need the help of an experienced Organisational Design Consultant to bring our services to the next level.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our HR Analytics team and help us lead the way in organizational design within ABN AMRO. Typically, you will work on Organisational Design projects, both strategic on corporate or business line level as on practical specific Organisational Design issues, such as organizational structure and tasks. Your job

As the Organizational Design Consultant, you will be the go-to person for support on Organisational Design projects. You are responsible for the underlying analyses and quality assurance of the Organisational Design process and the continuous improvement of the service. Your challenge is to transform Organisational Design within our organization to a higher maturity, in terms of execution, stakeholder management, and impact.
In more detail:

  • Coordinate and lead initiatives related to organizational design and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of bank-wide organizational design principles.
  • Maintain relationships with various departments and stakeholders and act as a centre of expertise related to organisational effectiveness related questions (e.g. structure, OD, Way of Working, etc).
  • Translate external developments into practical initiatives and best practices for the bank.

Your ability and willingness to work with others is crucial for your success in this role. You are naturally someone who takes initiative, structures and organises work well and is keen to work with others to deliver tangible results. You are practical, have an analytical approach and good communication skills. You are a strong team player and you take responsibility for your work. In the dynamic environment in which you operate, you have the ability to get all stakeholders on board.

Our team works in a hybrid way. This means on average we are 2 days a week at the office.

Your profile

  • At least five years of relevant consultancy experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in organizational design projects
  • A deep knowledge on how to structure organizations in terms of layers, skills, tasks, and coordinating mechanisms, as well as ways of workings.
  • You are a team worker, and have the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • You are result-oriented, and an analytical thinker
  • You are able to demonstrate self-starting capabilities, and organizational sensitivity.
  • Pro-active attitude and an excellent team player.
  • Fluent in Dutch is a pre.
  • Hybrid work: average 2 days in the office (Amsterdam)
  • Experience with advanced analytics, data management, dashboarding, survey management is highly appreciated

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above (5.516 - 7.880 pm) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. Salary is based on the knowledge, experience and potential you bring.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
