You do so by following the centralized Data Issue Management process as defined in our Data Policy and Data Issue Management Standard, including the execution of intakes, refinement of issues, interacting with mainly Report Owner teams (/Data Users) and Data Stewards in the business lines and data domains about remediation of the issues and to track and report on progress. • Educate and coach stakeholders on the DIM process, ensuring data issues are raised with a high standard in order to be brought forward for solutioning
  • Prioritized (urgent, high, medium, low) structural Finance & Risk issues based on regulatory and internal impact
  • Timely transferred refined data issues to the Data Owner / DIM-Data Domain Owner Subject Matter Expert team for solutioning
  • Report Owner / Data User awareness of the central Data Issue Management (DIM) process
  • Centralized administration for Finance & Risk related issues
  • Status & progress reporting on Finance & Risk issues to Management
  • Proposals for improvements on the DIM process, and implementation of the same

We are searching for someone who can effectively tackle the challenge of managing Finance & Risk data issues in a sustainable way that aligns with the bank future proof strategy!

Working environment

The Data Department Finance & Risk is part of the Finance & Risk Business Grids (within Finance), and plays an active role for all the Finance & Risk departments. We employ 200+ staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of Finance & Risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable F&R data on time. We do this by improving the F&R data itself, data systems and data processes.

You will work in the Data Governance & Compliance Cluster as part of the Data Issue Management-Use Coordinator team. Like the other teams, yours will largely consist of young, driven professionals. The atmosphere is open and informal. We work hard, but there’s plenty of room for enjoyment!

Your profile

Our ideal candidate is a pro-active, ambitious, and passionate person who enjoys bringing structure to a continuously changing environment, has a proven track record in driving change in organizations with complex setups and recognizes the importance of Data Issue Management as a key Data Management capability. You also have a strong stakeholder management skillset allowing you to effectively communicate across all levels of the bank, from Management level to operations level and everyone inbetween.

If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:

  • You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • You have knowledge of data management best practices (e.g. DAMA)
  • You have affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management and reporting
  • You are familiar with the Agile way of working
  • You have a solid stakeholder management skillset
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced, change environment with deliverables and deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)

We are offering

You get the space to contribute to the value creation from our risk data. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise and/or develop yourself in the breadth of the function. There are plenty of career opportunities, which mainly depend on your ambitions and interests.

In addition, we offer:

  • The ability to work flexible hours
  • A supplementary benefit budget of 11% with which you can buy flexible fringe benefits such as extra days off, a subsidy to cover the costs of a phone or an (electric) bicycle, and salary top-ups

  • An annual public transport season ticket
  • A good salary and pension scheme
